And every 7 days a massive horde of zombies will attack you wherever you are so you'll need to prepare for that. But what is different is the fact that you can do quests. But once you learn how things work it's really a cool game with great combat and base building. replayabilty is a tough one to answer, it depends on what you expect from the game, the best judge on replayabilty is you after you finish the game. And some would describe it as a horror game. no the map is static, but the area you start in has several spawn points, so a few new saves will start you in the same biome but in a different area. But you'll quickly find out there are other things at play here. You'll explore the island and its many caves in search of your son. You'll build a base and get some weapons. Food and water can be difficult to come by. Your son is kidnapped by the cannibals and there's no help coming. The plane you're on crashes and ends up on an island inhabited by dangerous cannibals. Also you can play with friends which is fun. Valheim is fun and relaxing but the combat can be difficult if you like to take risks. If you go to a dangerous place without being prepared you'll quickly die. The game really punishes players who try to rush things. Your ''objective'' is to find, fight, and defeat a number of bosses. You can build lovely bases and you're constantly improving and expanding things. And you'll have to defend yourself and your base from the hostile creatures in the game. You'll have to keep yourself fed by hunting/gathering food. The worlds are randomly generated so exploration is always interesting. Mostly calm and slow but there's also quite a bit of combat in this one. And with it, my next adventure.Ī Viking style game. And I can just spend my nights fishing and staring at the horizon. The soft piano music and relaxing gameplay always keep me calm. You can build freely on your raft and turn it into something beautiful.Īfter exploring an island you'll always return to your raft. You'll visit islands and learn new stuff to build. You'll be dealing with the standard survival things. Like the name suggests you are floating around on a raft in the middle of an ocean.
